A youth programme intended to develop the personality and leadership quality and imbibe the significance of good health, sound body and mind was organised by the Rotary Club of Nashik Airport from Nov 13 to 16 at Orchid International School, Anjneri.
The very first day of the youth programme was marked with the inauguration at the hands of Mayur Vyas, former district president of Gujarat. The second day was quite interesting as the first session was initiated by Dr George Judah, renowned psychotherapist and counsellor. It became easier for the participants to penetrate the knowledge deeper as the speaker furnished them with lots of real life examples.

He succeeded in imparting the message that 'I am responsible for who I am.'
Speaking about the need of meditation he said, "Meditation is a gap between two thoughts when you succeed in keeping your mind silent. Twenty minutes meditation is equal to six hours' sleep and it also connects you to spiritual world."
He advised youngsters to relax body and mind to build confidence and take care of themselves physically, mentally and psychologically.
While disclosing the facts about emotional needs, he said, "Every human being needs a stroke, which is a unit of appreciation and recognition but sadly we are miser about the love and recognition.
Always follow the formula 'Praise in public and reprimand in private. Your love should be unconditional. The concluding message he gave to everyone was the greatest gift you can give your child is self esteem, which is an inner sense of the value one places on oneself."
